SKILLS.NET This is an exciting project designed to give free training to those with little or no Internet experience. Public access to the Internet is available at a very low cost of $1.00 per hour at Community House. Bookings are essential. The course covers all aspects of web surfing, email and search engines. Certificate 11 in Arts-Interactive Multimedia 2. Computer Literacy and Survival Skills. 3. Introduction to the Internet1. She is, therefore, suitably qualified to offer training in all aspects of the World Wide Web! Groovy Mums: This program is for Mums of any age interested in the following topics; skincare/makeup, hair care, exercise/nutrition, co-ordinating fashions etc. We are planning to hold the sessions on a Monday evening 7.30-8.30pm. Parent Education: *POSITIVELY FUN AND MORE FUN - A workshop to help parents have more fun with their young children. Topics include; Introduction to play with basic materials, Learning to play, Playing outside, Cooking, Talking and singing with you child, Role-playing. To be held over 4 Saturday mornings 10am - 12noon 23.02.0 to 23.03.02. *POSITIVE PARENTING PROGRAM - This program is designed as a universal parenting support strategy and any interested parent may paricipate. The program will consist of 4 x 2 hour sessions and individual follow-ups. *CROCHET CLASSES - Mondays 1pm - 3pm. Commencing 04.02.02 $2 per session. *OCCASIONAL CHILD CARE - Friday mornings 9am - 12noon at the former Swan Hill Central Preschool building on the corner McCrae & Splatt Sts, Swan Hill.
